"Le ciel est bleu partout", a movie made by UP8 students on exile
Our Work Package 3 is designed to provide new experiences and pedagogical innovation to refugee students in our universities. One of the workshops we developped aimed at the creation of a short movie by the students of the DU Passerelle (Bridge Diploma).
"The short movie Le ciel est bleu partout! is the result of the oral production work carried out with the entire class of students in the D.U. Passerelle programme for students in exile and university integration at Université Paris 8 in the 2023-2024 academic year.By October 2023, all the students had been positioned and recruited at level A2 of the D.E.L.F. (french level evaluation).
The students come from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Egypt, Georgia, Iran, Sudan, Syria, Tibet, Turkey and Ukraine.
The main aim of the project, which was developed on the basis of the group’s identity, was to create a space for oral comprehension and production so that all the students could put their thoughts, words and emotions into words and make progress in their acquisition of the French language."

This short movie was directed by Awled Ahmed Moez, researcher specialised in theatre.
