What are digital credentials?

It is proof of recognition of skills, knowledge or competences. It can be a certificate provided by a university or other educational provider. A digital credential contains the time and location it was gained, and the institution that deliveredoffered the training.

Why does it matter?

Digital credentials officially recognise your acquired knowledge and skills, thus adding value to your CV in the European job market! Check also the EU priority on this matter here.

How does it work?

Simply download the free of charge digital wallet application inside which the digital credential will be automatically stored.

What to do?

1. Download the Gataca wallet on your mobile phone through google play (android) or apple store:

2. Once downloaded, after the end of the Bordeaux summer school, you will be able to store and share your open badge.
