The AGILE consortium is very happy to present its brand-new virtual exhibition on "Visual linguistic autobiographies of exiled students"! Coordinated by the University of Hamburg and curated by Silvia Melo-Pfeifer, this virtual exhibition ambitions to present the drawn autobiographies of exiled students.

🎨 This exhibition is the results of a workshop organised during the AGILE summer school, in June 2024. A total of 43 drawings were collected.

Figure 1. Making off.

The individual drawings were commented by the other participants in the summer school, through the writing or otherwise visually representation of feedback in colourful sticky notes.
The workshop was carried out in English, but the students could leave the comments in any language. The traces of these feedbacks were left in this virtual exhibition.

📸 The organizers also collected photos of the exhibition, during and after the production, and videos of the presentations of each drawing by the students.

We are very proud to present these stories of students, all tainted by the experience of exile and still unique given the diverse backgrounds represented.
