Webinar on social integration at KTU
On April 11th, a remote webinar was organised with the speaker Valentina Demidenko, director of the Jonava Social Service Center, and two of its employees: Oksana Mentkevych from Ukraine and Awf Abdulrazzak from Syria. They both represent examples of successful social integration in Lithuania. This meeting was held in lithuanian language and was intended for a lithuanian audience.
During this webinar, participants talked about the stereotypes of and on other foreigners, the differences in the perception of integration in the country, the stages of the integration and migration process and the provision of social services to refugees.
During this webinar, the audience asked relevant questions to the speakers, who, based on their own experience, explained their personal perspective on the matter, including the integration in the workplace.
