Lisa Marie Brinkmann is a research assistant at the University of Hamburg, currently doing a PhD about the use of portfolios in the French classroom (as a foreign language) in school and its impact on German students’ investment. She is part of the Erasmus + project BOLD (Building on Linguistic and Cultural Diversity) and coordinated three projects in the “Transcultural encounters in Spanish Teacher Education” series since 2022, funded by Innovative learning and teaching formats of University of Hamburg and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). Her research focuses on methods to promote plurilingualism in education, such as the use of linguistic landscapes and the European Language Portfolio, and intercultural learning as well as critical pedagogies in blended mobility programmes.
