Dr Iryna Degtyarova-a Ukrainian citizen, is a senior researcher at the Polish Rectors Foundation. She has a PhD in Ukrainian linguistics and a PhD in administration and political sciences. She is the project coordinator of the Polish-Ukrainian project. In 2015-2020, she was a Vice-Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists under the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. Iryna is a member of the CRASP Committee on Strategic Problems of Higher Education. She has extensive research and expert experience in higher education governance, Polish-Ukrainian cooperation, higher education and research policy. As Ukrainian, she is engaged in dealing with Ukrainian academic refugees, cooperating with CRASP and the National Representation of Doctoral Candidates. At this moment, she is preparing a comment to the new law on the Ukrainian refugees ordered by the publisher Wolters Kluwer.
