Prof.Liliia Klos, Sc.D., Ph.D. is the Head of the Department of Sociology and Social Work of Lviv Polytechnic National University. Lillia’s research focuses on the professional training of social workers, health-preserving activities in social work, mental health problems of the population, social work in health care, social inclusion, and community health. Lilia is also a medical doctor with many years of experience in practical medical work, in particular in the field of overcoming infectious diseases, social diseases, with an emphasis on the treatment of children and adolescents. Thanks to this experience, Lilya was the coordinator of the international educational project implemented in partnership with the University of Würzburg "Healthy Inclusive University"; she is one of the initiators of the creation of the Lviv Polytechnic Community Health Clinic, the Social Counseling Center for students on overcoming social and psychological problems, in particular addictions. She actively collaborates with various public and state organizations, using her expertise to foster change in the local community.
