Sonja Gole Ašanin is, by profession, an educator for behavioral and personality disorders and for students in homes, as well as a graduate of social management. She has been working for more than 30 years of work in the field of refugee issues in both the non-governmental and governmental sectors; direct work with persons with international protection as an integration counsellor, cooperation with non-governmental organizations and other competent institutions in the field of integration, cooperation in the preparation of legislative changes.

Sonja Gole Ašanin shares her desire for a greater inclusion of refugees in higher education in Slovenia.
