Design plan of the 3- level interventions
The AGILE team is honoured to announce the release of its design plan on the 3-level interventions.
While learning and mastering the host-country language remains the first prerequisite for exiled students wishing to return to education, it cannot in itself guarantee success in Higher Education (HE) or in society. As indicated in previous AGILE project reports, factors such as sustainable housing, grants, financial aid, professional, social and psychological help and access to specialized advisors to facilitate study are all key prerequisites for the successful integration of students in exile. Throughout the AGILE project, we have thus stressed the need for a support system that works alongside social partners, charities, associations and other local organizations which in turn encourages the constant improvement of language skills through regular exchanges with students and citizens.
This document aims at presenting the innovations in terms of pedagogy in France with the example of the French Bridge diploma (DU Passerelle in French). This innovation has led us to develop a 3-level intervention plan as part of the Work Package 3 (WP3) dedicated to all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in Europe and beyond which want to improve their pedagogical approach. This plan will outline the reasons for which we want to implement these actions and the scope, method, and means for each university intervention: instructional design (WP3A1), social participation in and outside university (WP3A2) and open recognition of skills (WP3A3).
