We are thrilled to invite you to the upcoming webinar titled "#ScienceForUkraine: 2 Years of Grassroots Activism in Support of Ukrainian Science During the War".
This significant event is organized by Web2Learn, marking the third in a series of initiatives aimed at highlighting European universities’ actions in support of Ukrainian refugees.

This webinar will bring together the founding members of the #ScienceForUkraine initiative: Sanita Reinsone from the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia, Oleksandra Ivashchenko from the University Medical Center Groningen, and Michael E. Rose from the Max Planck Institute for Innovation & Competition.

They will share their journey, experiences, and the remarkable achievements of #ScienceForUkraine, from its inception as a social media movement to its development into a non-governmental organization dedicated to supporting Ukrainian scientists and academic institutions amidst the conflict.

Moderated by Katerina Zourou, Managing Director of Web2Learn, Greece, the session promises to be a deep dive into the power of grassroots activism in supporting the scientific community during times of crisis and the importance of international solidarity and cooperation.
